Iowa City Landfill Fire
| A fire at the Iowa City landfill that began Saturday is still burning as of this morning and is clearly visible. Shifting winds are making the fire more of a challenge, and firefighters say it could burn for several more days. The strategy is to contain the fire and let it burn itself out.
