D&M Caterpillars

 

Becky's sixth-graders at Illinois City Elementary in Rockridge have named their class caterpillars after us! Their 2 Monarch caterpillars are named after the guys and the Swallowtail is named after Beth. They'll be keeping up updated on the progress of these little guys.

Over the weekend the Dwyer & Michaels Monarchs each formed their chrysalis

Beth has completed her chrysalis and will emerge as a butterfly in around 10 days

Dwyer and Michaels are getting closer to hatching.
You can start to see their wings as the chrysalis becomes more transparent.
