A huge hailstone fell in South Dakota last week. Weighing nearly 2 lbs and measuring over 18 inches around it is the largest on record!

Les Scott of Vivian, SD braved the weather to rescue this huge hailstone from his yard and took it to the National Weather Sevice. It weighed in at 1.9375 pounds which is a world record.
