Over a year ago, Mallory Sears and Ryan Wirth booked the largest ballroom at the iWireless Center for their wedding reception. It was held this past Saturday night... the same night that 12,000 people were crammed into the building for a Metallica concert!

We talked to the happy couple on Monday and Ryan told us that you could "hardly" hear the noise if you were on the dance floor, but it was unmistakable at the tables that there was a rock concert happening 20 yards away. The band did do something very cool though: they sent him and his bride a bottle of Dom Perignon during the reception! Metallica's crew also snuck out the guest registry and had the band sign it and put and autographed picture of the band into the card box. They also got a copy of the set list for the concert with a bunch of funny doodles on it. Another copy with "extra notes" is apparently circulating on the internet!
