Double Take
Copy editors at the Lewiston Tribune solved a crime by laying out the front page of the newspaper! First they chose a nice holiday photo of Michael Millhouse, of Millhouse signs, decorating a windows downtown. Then they put up a photo of any unknow man caught on surveillance stealing a wallet. Wait a minute.... "unknown man" is wearing the same coat as that guy decorating the windows! Check out the front page:

The newspapaer editors called the police, and told them they were pretty sure they'd solved the crime. Michael Millhouse was arrested and charged with felony second degree theft. He told the police he took the wallet because he "thought" it was his wife's, and he'd planned on turning it in, but "forgot" about it. If he's convicted, he could get up to FIVE YEARS in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Michael Millhouse, of Millhouse Signs in Lewiston, works on giving the windows at SCI Enterprises in downtown Lewiston some holiday spirit with a Christmas greeting Wednesday afternoon.

A surveillance camera captures the image of an unknown man at the counter of a Zip Trip store on Bridge Street in Clarkston. A woman’s wallet can be seen laying on the counter in front of the man. The camera videotaped the man later picking up the wallet and putting it inside his coat and walking out of the store.
